Celebrate Greece in all its glory on our popular Greek Islands cruisetour, which creates a harmonious balance between traditional cruising and private yachting. Explore storied cities, iconic archaeological sites, and idyllic islands at a relaxed pace while painting with David R. Becker. Begin your journey in Athens, considered to be the cradle of western civilization, and then board the exclusively chartered, Four-Star mega-yacht M/Y Harmony G. Your Greek Islands cruise lasts eight days, visiting stunning ports and secluded hideaways along the azure waters of the Aegean Sea, such as Crete, rich in history and culture, and picturesque Santorini. To enrich your experience, your Cruise Director is also a Greek historian and guide who will present fascinating lectures on the history, religion, architecture, and mythology of Greece.
Your Greek Islands cruise tour takes you to the most popular ports and secluded hideways on the Aegean Sea, including Santorini, Crete, and Mykonos — all in just seven nights — along with a visit to Athens. Optional extensions are also available to Athens and Istanbul.
Join David R. Becker for a simple and fun way to learn and experience this classic art form. The group will travel together to some of the most beautiful painting sites. In the morning, David will demonstrate and teach you how to translate the landscape into art through a series of simple lessons and exercises. In the afternoon, the group will have ample painting time to complete a comprehensive painting focusing on that day’s objective. At the end of each day the group will meet for a critique and discussion of the next day’s plan.
Demonstrations, practice lessons, and plenty of individual assistance are the hallmarks of David’s workshops. The mission of this workshop is to enjoy the outdoors with a group, guided by a master while experiencing the creative process. Most days you will paint for roughly an hour in the morning or evening while on board the ship.
You will be sketching and taking photos while on shore and during tours. Each day there will in an informal review of the day's work before dinner. Your workshop starts with a welcome dinner on Friday evening, and concludes with a farewell wine and cheese exhibition on Friday afternoon. View the full itinerary...
