Dillman's adventured to France, their thrid country with Bob Burridge in 2018... adding to Cuba and the Bahamas. Bob had always wanted to experience France on a river boat and on this ten-day cruise we make it happen! The group sketched and painted the history and countryside of France while enjoying amazing French cuisine on the Seine River. Think Ernest Hemingway's "Moveable Feast" — that was us! We visited Monet's Garden in Giverny, Rouen, Honfleur, Les Andelys and finished the tour in Paris.

Dillman's took their third trip with Rose and Stan Edin in three years... each of the trips was very different, yet equally as delightful. This 13 day trip touring central Italy and Sicily was amazing. We were thrilled to have several returning guests joining us on this trip to explore new and exciting places in central Italy and Sicily. As always the food and beverage was fantastic and the accommodations were delightful. With travel on land and sea, we always had knowledgeable, gracious and helpful local staff to assist us and make our travels smooth and effortless.

We feel so fortunate to have been able to travel to Cuba for two separate trips. These two adventures explored Cuban spirit, art, religion, restoration and culture. On this cultural, educational and non-denominational religious tours we traveled to see the present day Cuba with an overlay of the varied historical implications to this gorgeous island. Each trip was 11 days and were sold out with 24 travelers and three Dillman's staff in addition to several in-country guides and hosts.

This was our second trip to Italy with Stan and Rose Edin. We spent 10 days exploring the rich and vast portion of northern Italy. Again Dillman's staff was on-site and available daily for all aspects of the trip and worked in tandem with our in-country hosts to ensure many experiences geared towards a watercolor and photography trip.

Bob and Kate Burridge, as well as the Dillman's staff, had such a wonderful experience in the Abacos in 2011, that we decided to return again in 2013. Several people joined us again for the second trip to the islands as well as many "Bobettes" who wanted a taste of the Caribbean. Again over 20 travelers and days filled with painting, island exploring, delicious island food and beverage and an excellent stay at Hope Town Harbor Lodge.

Rose and Stan Edin are fantastic instructors and seasoned travelers and such a joy to with be on a painting adventure. This trip was filled with enchanting, unique, elegant, incredible and breathtaking experiences along the Amalfia Coast - which seems to be suspended between sea and sky. Each perfectly preserved village, spilling down steep cliffs to the azure sea had its own special charm and personality. The beautiful settings were perfect for plein air painting during the entire vacation. The northern portion of this trip, in the Umbria region, was equally beautiful but such an amazingly different part of the country. We were excited to be working with our experience and on-site travel company in Italy that assisted with so many of the intricate and special details of each day.

Our first workshop trip to the Abacos in the Bahamas was such a wonderful experience. We stayed on Elbow Cay and did five full days of painting, plus additional side trips to some of the outer islands. We were joined by 22 travelers on this trip, and 5 Dillman's staff and really had a relaxed vacation mixed with a lot of painting, laughter and great memories.

This amazing trip in Central America with watercolorist Bridget Austin was filled with culture and beauty of Costa Rica. We enjoyed painting the rich countryside and seascapes that included geographic contrast, gorgeous wildlife, diverse culture and fantastic ethnic food and kindhearted people. Over 20 people traveled with us on the ten day adventure covering both the northern and southern parts of the country.
